Dogs are allowed to join you at Lazy Bear! There is a $125 nonrefundable pet fee and a requirement to read and agree to comply our pet policies which will be provided at booking. We allow one dog and will occasionally allow two with prior approval. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds and require a kennel if you plan to leave them in the cabin alone.

While 4-wheel drive is not necessary, the road to the cabin is a single lane half-mile gravel road with a slight uphill and switch back near the top.

It is not considered steep for the area but it is not straight and flat.

The cabin is best suited for 1 or 2 couples or a small family. The downstairs bedroom and the upstairs loft bedroom both contain queen-sized beds. The downstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combination and the upstairs bathroom has a claw foot tub but no shower.

The cabin is located at the edge of a wilderness area which is inhabited by fox, bears, snakes, mice and other animals. While the animals and snakes typically stay in the wilderness area, it is possible that you may encounter one during your stay.
